The computer is one of the wonders of human ingenuity, even in its original design in the 1950's to carry out complicated mathematical and logical operations. This lesson tackles about computer as a tutor and how they integrate computer-assisted instruction (CAI) in an individualized learning environment. It also gives some suggestion of programs to be use to achieve the betterment of students learning, first is the simulation programs, wherein it teaches strategies and rules applied to real-life situation, second is the instructional games wherein students are engaged with instructional computer games that adds element of competition and challenge. Third, is the problem solving software, wherein students learn to improve their problem solving ability. The fourth and the last is the multimedia encyclopedia and electronic books wherein students can access any desired information they wanted. those programs gives more excitement and at the same time it gives knowledge to the students using CAI.

in this lesson we have learned the significance of computer-assisted instruction, it gives us information on what particular programs or software to use to improve our students knowledge. it also give us the idea that a computer could never really replace a teacher, for the reason that teachers plays a major role as an information deliverer and learning environment controller.
